Electrically insulated Bearings from NKE/Austria

Provide enhanced protection against electric current damage

Electrically insulated bearings provide optimal protection against bearing damage caused by current passage in e.g. electric motors, generators or similar equipment. To protect bearings against the passage of electric current, NKE now also provides electrically insulated bearings, i.e. an oxide ceramic layer on the bearing ring. Applied with plasma technology, this layer has a guaranteed breakdown resistance of at least 1000V AC or DC.

* Electrically insulated on the outer ring SQ77 equivalent to VL0241
* 100% interchangeable with standard stock
* Ball bearings series 6212-6226 and 6312-6326
* Cylindrical roller bearings series NJ, NU, NUP size 210-230 and 310-330
* Radial play C3 or C4
* Insulation is also available on the inner ring SQ77E equivalent to VL2071
